Why are we silent?
The Open Studio
invites you in:
You will find silence, a large window, a clean floor. There are
materials in the room that invite you to read, feel and reflect.
On the wall, a “dialogisches Geflecht-Wandbild” invites you to participate.
You can spend time here, write, stare at the wall,
leave something on it, read, take a nap, enjoy the silence.
You can come once, or more often. Alone or with others.
There is a break area in front of the room.
Workshops take place on weekday evenings and Saturdays.
Outside of that, we practice the friendly silence
of a reading room in the space
Dialogisches Geflecht-Wandbild
At the beginning there is a blank wall.
Everyone is invited to leave something there before leaving. Thoughts, observations, questions, comments, feelings, poems, quotes, pictures. There are pens, colored and uncolored, thick and thin. Different papers and pieces of paper.
With every day, the collection grows and becomes a mesh - a mesh of paper and thoughts, colors and feelings, writing and associations. With nodes, connections, unusual neighbor and other fields of investigation. Threads of conversation can be spun. More and more sides of a “medal” (perhaps) come into ‘play’.
In this way, a “dialogisches Geflecht-Wandbild” (dialogical mesh mural) develops that breathes and can be rediscovered and questioned again and again through our participation..

Workshops
The workshops offer the opportunity to exchange perspectives with others and space to deepen your knowledge. We will mostly work with or in the cosmos of the “dialogisches Geflechtwandbild” (dialogical mesh mural).
The workshops within the framework of the open studio invite small moments of reflection. Starting from the material in “dialogisches Geflechtwandbild”, we will explore individual aspects of silence in the workshops with the help of mindfulness and creative practices.
The workshops on Saturdays allow for more time and a more intensive exchange with others.
